It's a Boy!
Don't get too excited... He's still cookin'. We went for an ultrasound this week, week18. We are halfway there! Faith is doing great. She hasn't had any morning sickness. Her belly is getting bigger, but she is as cute as ever.
Now that we have narrowed down choices for names, clothing, decorative themes, etc., it's time to really get a move on with planning stuff. We were looking to move out of our duplex and into a house, but we decided that we should wait so that we wouldn't put a strain on the finances during the critical first years of our son's life. We haven't decided on a name yet, but right now the front runner is; Zachary Jeremiah Williams.

Special Delivery
There is something I should tell all of you who care enough about me to be reading this...
You probably already knew this. Especially at the rate the news spread during the period of time that Faith and I were trying to keep it on the hush hush. However, if you did not already know, do not feel left out.
My extremely cute wife, Faith Michelle, is approximately 8 weeks along. The first doctor appointment is on May 1st. She is doing very well. We are both very excited. Discussion of the little one's name has begun. Check it out, if it is a boy, his middle name will be Jeremiah. So, we have to come up with something that flows. If it is a girl we are thinking of Caitlin/Katelyn or Kalie/Caly/Kailey (long A). See, I like names where there is no debate over spelling. I like these names... It's just that... well... We've got a while and you can help. Post suggestions.
I'm going to be a dad!!!

Spring Break Rocks!
Lovely weather lately. I have an exciting weekend coming up followed by a very relaxing week off. Obvious case of spring fever. Of course, this also means yard work and extra Honey-Dos are in store for me.
Our weekend:
Saturday night, Faith and I are going to the last show of one of our favorite local bands the Hopsing Project. Don't know why, but there seems to be no hope for the future of one of the regions greatest alternative bands. Members of the band have been either replaced or just weren't on stage, here lately.
Sunday is race day! The Williams boys are going to Atlanta Motor Speedway for some 200+ mile-an-hour, wrench-sqealin', rubber-burnin', sheet-metal-bendin', git'n-er-done. The Kobalt Tools 500.
Monday is Punkin' day... That means on Monday I'll be doin' whatever the Punkin' wants.
It would be foolish not to.
Forecast; grading papers, yard work, getting the washing machine fixed, etc.
Post a comment for details.

Everybody's good at something...
It is great to be able to get together with other musicians and just jam. That's what's up. Currently, I am not. My last stand with a band was a three show deal. I loved every moment of it. Even rehearsing was fun. I hope to remain available to them and anyone I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
In this post, I will not be able to cover my performance history because I have been very blessed to have traveled the world giving those who would listen a piece of my heart. You may think that, as a trumpet player, instrumental music is all I'm about. As my profile states, jazz is my bag, but when I can contribute a lick to any worthwhile group of voices or instruments, I am interested in what the mixture may yield. Every opportunity that I have had to perform has made me a better player and I thank you all.
Special Thanks; Dutch Boy Drum and Bugle Corps, Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, Milele Roots, Saturated Phat, Gene Norman and The Cleveland Grease-Pit Orchestra, DDS, The Violent Femmes, and many more extra special individuals.
There is much more to come. Stay tuned!

Let's go racin'!
The 2007 NASCAR season has been a nail-biter, so far. How about ol' Happy? He's the man! Darn that red flag in CA... He was movin' in fast. I really do hope Jr.'s luck changes soon. There's no time better for that to happen than in Vegas. The playing field has been leveled. Get it?
Enough with the puns... Atlanta's coming up and I've got a seat. I can't wait. I'll be initiating my dad, Rick, and two of my brothers, Tim and Andrew. It's the first track for these guys. I think I've got them pretty psyched, too. This will be my third spring race at AMS. Lovin' it!

Allow me to introduce myself...
Hello everyone. Jeremiah here. How about this? A place to let you all know what's going on in my world. Really I'm just giving myself something else to keep up with. But seriously, it's easier on the eyes than email, maybe not as personal. Go ahead, get personal. This certainly shouldn't replace phone calls and cards on the holidays, though. Who knows? Maybe this is how I'll network the greatest horn band on the planet.
Just so you know, it's not about me... entirely. Sure, I can show off a little, but you must be slightly interesting. I invited you here! Just follow the labels for the type of relationship that you and I have. These labels allow you to choose the areas of my life that you might be interested in becoming informed about.
I can't tell you everything now, so take a look around. Y'all come back and leave a message.
